I have been working at Panera Bread for six years. It was my first job. I am responsible for taking orders and making sure the customers get the best experience. Working here has taught me how to adapt to new environments, along with leadership skills, communication, and what it takes to train new coworkers.

As a Team Lead 2 at Saxbys, I serve as one of 5 team leads of an exclusively student-run café as part of Saxbys’ Experiential Learning Partnership with Millersville University, the café employed over 80 team members. Throughout shifts, I ensure team success by providing operational support and serving as a model of servant leadership for fellow team members to reinforce a hospitality driven culture. While on shift, I balance administrative and operational tasks with responsibilities that include: conducting weekly inventory counts, documenting waste, submitting facilities requests, advising the Student C.E.O. (Cafe Executive Officer), and organizing deposits to support the daily functioning of the cafe.
