Evidently is a small, agile agency that punches well above its weight. We do strategy, creative and in-house production. Simply put, we help brands tell authentic stories that change consumer behaviour.I joined Evidently because I love telling stories, and they needed someone with a broadcast background to help them do that. Plus, it was jam-packed with lovely, talented people. Hammaglamma is an independent production company. We produced a ton of content for Formula One sponsorship and teams, as well as for heritage motoring brands like Aston Martin and Rolls Royce. We also developed, pitched and produced factual entertainment programming for many of the UK's broadcasters. I joined Hammaglamma as an editor, but like all small independents, the job description is only part of the job. During my time there I discovered that, even though it doesn't come with shiny machinery, coming up with ideas is just as fun as executing them.Of course, I did lots of creative and filmmaking. But I also helped set up and manage their internal studios, directed, produced, camera operated, and developed factual entertainment ideas and formats successfully (as well as less successfully) for UK broadcasters. From chilly, windy days on location to thinking up, writing up and pitching ideas to Commisioners. Whatever the day needed.

I only spent a year as a freelancer. Tried it, didn't like it much. Probably because I missed having a dysfunctional work-family to call my own. That and the endless misery of dealing with HMRC.

I joined Post-Production house Remote Films Ltd back in the late 90's as a runner. Although making tea and getting lunch was obviously the dream, their shiny new Avid caught my eye, so I stayed late making overworked music montages until I knew how to use it. After that I basically just said "I'll do it" a lot until they broke and made me a junior editor. Thanks to some great training from the fabulous Vicky Hart (then in-house senior editor), by the time I left I was the senior in-house offline and online editor; making broadcast, commercial and corporate content for clients such as BBC, CH4, ITV, CH5, British Midland, Forte Hotels, Universal Studios, Mars, Pepsi, Tetleys and many, many others.
