This new concept is positioned in the upper premium bracket and will change the way men shop.In this senior management role I am directly responsible for: Overseeing the receipt of stock;Managing the outbound & inbound Trunk process;Human Resource management of Warehouse staff;Meeting productivity targets;Ensuring the Warehouse is efficient and orderly;Overseeing IT systems used in the Warehouse.I enjoy the variety and scope of this role. Routinely I utilise my skills and experience to benefit other business functions including customer service, sales, marketing, ICT and wider human resources. I am very proud of the improvement in results I was able to deliver in my time here. Through my management store KPIs increased, including the key performance indicator I was directly responsible for- the Mystery Shop performance, when I arrived it was at 70% and when I left it was at 96%.

Fulfilling a multitude of part-time roles during my studies and alongside other part-time employment. These roles served to enhance and establish my transferable skills and experience in many ways. This involved working for the second summer on this scheme. Mainly working with schools and colleges we aim to improve knowledge and participation of University in Nottingham and the surrounding area. This involves working with different age ranges from year 6 to 12. Tailoring our events to the relevant age range we aim to impress on the pupils how much fun university can be, whilst dispelling many of the negative rumours, including ones involving finance. The events I take part in range from school visits to summer residential trip supervision. This year I also designed and delivered a 'Taster Session' for year 9 classes. This was both challenging and rewarding. I had to plan and run a half hour class on my degree subject.

Like the Student Mentoring I see this as key to building experience, working in a teaching environment and helping me develop my existing skills. Working as part of the 'Students In Classrooms' scheme I worked on the 'Inspire Mentor' program. Working with 4 students for the academic year I really feel I made a difference to the students and more specifically make them achieve what they are capable of. I was based at my old school and college Djanogly City Academy.
