FLO is a vertically integrated leading North American EV charging stations manufacturer and network operator.In 2016, EV charging was a very blurry concept, but has since proven its central role in the electrification of vehicles. Starting small, I became more involved in most aspects of EV charging:•Breaking the ice: Initiating relations with car dealerships throughout Canada to implement FLO charging stations as their turnkey home charging solution, boosting EV sales. Generated significant uptake from the dealership network with consistent field support to make FLO a reliable vendor, both in quality and delivery.•Laying roots: Then dealerships needed EV charging infrastructure: I was consulted as expert to assess needs, existing infra, term planning of deployments. •Working with a behemoth: Using a Triangular Approach (manufacturer-site owner-electrician), liaised with the Electrical Industry. Coordinating installs with contractors and electrical distributors, providing technical knowledge, electrical infrastructure design strategies, project manager support, staff training and ongoing direct support to new car dealerships. Achieved dominating channel sales in both situations where FLO was an OEM selected vendor, and also where FLO was not an OEM recommended vendor•Entering the Ivory Towers: With the democratization of EV’s, moved to work directly with OEM car manufacturers to tie SLA-type agreements to scale FLO’s presence in North America. Introductory talks led to NDA level in-depth workshops, which produced long-term agreements of which one can witness the success of today at numerous industry-leading EV selling OEMs. Generated significant revenues for FLO to reach unprecedented breadth•Other realizations: kept cutting-edge knowledge & expertise at technical, statistical and sales levels, residential product development, trade show conferencing on EV charging for EV drivers and infra planners, MURB segment sales, Fleet segment sales, etc

Responsible for building new local online sales department, spanning the 6 regional media properties of La Presse: Le Droit, La Tribune, Le Soleil, La Voix de l'Est, Le Quotidien, Le Nouvelliste. Creation of rate card and circulation documentation, by isolating local reach for each market. Cross-validating with traditional paper NADBank circulation statistics to determine total reach and media value for advertisers. Educating the sales force in order to leverage their high value unique relationship to existing customer base, and to gain new customers to a renewed and larger-than-ever combined reach.

Responsible for the growth and protection of sales volume. Negociated advertising budgets with major advertisers, both national and local. Devised strategies to prepare the traditional business in the face of significant competition from online medias and platforms, such as renegociating work contracts with the three workers unions in place in the departement, creation of cross-platform projects, re-introducing field events in the community and with customers, etc.Actively involved in community relations with Canadian Francophones of Ontario and beyond, whom make up an important part of readership.
