• Led the team that assessed technologies emerging from the University's $518 million research budget and consulted with inventors and stakeholders from the University’s engineering school, technology transfer department, and business school on commercialization strategies and investor presentations. • Drove the marketing and enrollment effort for a new course offering centered around academia-based technology transfer and commercialization.

• Consulted with clients and provided market research and analysis for commercialization strategies to drive products from concept to market. • Interfaced with clients while researching and preparing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposals. Prepared funding requests totaling $1.3 million and prepared executive briefs and final client reports enabling the completion of contracts totaling $24,000.• Helped build a network of entrepreneurs via various social media channels and create a collaborative website for technologies for use by clients and potential investors.

• Served as internal Assay Transfer manager, facilitating transfer of experimental assays from Research and Development to Production sectors and formalizing assays in preparation for federal licensing. • Created the company-wide Standard Operating Procedure for licensing transfer encompassing all aspects including specification setting, production and quality control and release testing.• Performed statistical analysis and set guidelines for all assay specifications in order to release controlled products.• Produced FDA and USDA licensed Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and immunological products, performing analysis of in-process, release and stability testing in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations and guidelines.

●Collaborated on association studies and mutation detection cores in gene study on asthma. ●Performed PCR and radioactive hybridization to detect alleles in control and affected populations.●Conducted sequence analysis to scan candidate SNPs in genes suspected to be associated with asthma; wrote Standard Operating Procedures for sequencing procedure.
