I specialise in paediatric interventional radiology, which involves image-guided keyhole surgery and other minimally-invasive procedures which are used to diagnose or treat a wide variety of conditions in children.I lead the IR workstream of Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) within NHS EnglandI have a special interest in working with children who have complex birthmarks, AVMs or vascular malformations, as part of the vascular anomalies service at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. I am also very involved in developing interventional oncology in paediatrics, particularly cryoablation, and in treating children with kidney stones.Much of my work beyond my NHS job is centred on the development of paediatric IR in the UK and further afield. As part of this, I am on the Executive Committee of CIRSE, Executive Council of the BSIR and the IR committee of the UK Royal College of Radiologists.
