CurrentCreate, direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. • Manage a 20-person technical team supporting more than 40 contract customers and ~100 project & T&M customers• Develop technical standards around Universal Data’s core solutions and implemented training for staff• Researched and developed Technology solutions for Universal Data’s primary customer base that allowed a standard of solutions as well as a streamlined quoting process and support process to increase efficiencies within the contracts and/or projects• Managed a $30 million project contract along with a 5-Year $3 million contract to manage over 84 locations and ~10,000 network devices• Hired in-house staff and developed processes and procedures to install the largest wireless network in the State of Louisiana. We deployed ~8,000 Aruba access points and 2,000 Juniper switches under timeframe and under budget. Project also consisted of subcontracting cabling for 16,000 CAT 6A Leviton drops• Responsible for managing engineering team KPI’s, which include billable utilization rate, project budget rate, and contract utilization• Responsible for overseeing profitability and margins on all services including Projects and Contract customers• Developed and managed Project Management Processes to provide customers with a streamlined process for their technology implementation• Responsible for management of all Pre-Sales engagements with customers and Account Management team as well as determining the recommended solution based on best practices• Managed staff training, and certification requirements based on vendor requirements• Responsible for a $2 million internal technical budget which entails salaries, tools, training and expenses
