Alex Bedwell is a Policy Analyst at BGR Group in the Commerce and State and Local Practices. In this role he assists clients with domestic policy issues, particularly telecommunications, transportation and infrastructure, consumer protection policy, and artificial intelligence. He works closely with BGR Group principals to produce research on policy, legislative activity, and stakeholder companies. Alex is also the Manager of the CAR Coalition, working with members and stakeholders to lower the price of auto repair for consumers.Alex joined the BGR Government Affairs team in March of 2022 after previously working for two years as an associate and research clerk. Prior to working at BGR Group, Alex worked for Pfizer on their credit risk team and at T.E. Lott & Company, helping clients with business and individual tax return issues.Alex received his Bachelors of Business Administration in both Finance and Economics from Mississippi State University. While in school, Alex served as Mississippi State’s Student Body Treasurer from 2018-2019, Student Association Senator representing the College of Business, and Chairman of Appropriations. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and the TVA Investment Panel.
