Welcome to my LinkedIn page.I am an explorer, an environment advocate and a sports mental coach.Exploration for me is above all a mean of getting to know myself, and secondly a communicative tool to raise public awareness on sustainability and environmental issues.My most important expeditions include the solo crossing of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean on a rowing boat (2005) and the Pacific Ocean solo row (2008). More recently, I sailed on the 10 most plastic polluted rivers in the world to create environmental awareness and help give birth to new ecological thinking.Since 2014 I have been supporting athletes of various disciplines in the pursuit of their maximum performance, with a focus on five key factors (synchrony, strengths, energy, rhythm and activation).I lecture (in Italian and English) for companies such as Ferrari, ABB, ING and Accenture and for organizations including LUISS University and Bocconi Business School.I share the commitment that allowed me to undertake two solo ocean crossings on a rowboat and to get up again after the shipwreck in 2004. My favorite topics includes adaptability, personal leadership, motivation and crisis management.For my work as an environment advocate I was named LinkedIn Top Voice Environment in 2022 and I regularly appear in the Top Green Influencers rankings.I am the author of 6 books. The most recent one, published by the Feltrinelli publishing house, is entitled Viaggio a Oblivia and analyzes the psychological traps that prevent us from understanding the urgency of acting in the face of the climate crisis.
