I have over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. I began as a computer operator and have worked my way through various analyst, programmer, leader and data architect positions in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, health care, insurance, transportation and manufacturing. I have worked for three major software companies, doing pre- and post-sales consulting for an application development software language, data administration for an integrated hospital system, and data modeling for an integrated financial, human resources and manufacturing application suite. I have been an independent IT consultant, providing the full spectrum of services: analyzing, designing, programming, auditing, documenting and managing. I enjoy being the 'catalyst' on projects where the business and technical users need to define and document a problem, propose solutions, and then to choose, develop, implement, monitor, support and improve the solution. I look forward to opportunities where I can serve as a hands-on worker as well as a mentor to others as an Enterprise Data Architect utilizing my various skills.Over the last few years I have improved my understanding and ability to perform project management, business and data analysis, and data architecture; especially within the context of Strategic Information Resource Management Planning (another way of saying Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture).My objective is to utilize my analytical, architecture and leadership skills to contribute to the development of a data architecture, computer software and/or business processes that assist the company in achieving its business goals.Specialties: Analysis, strategic information resource management planning (same as Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture), data and process modeling, facilitation, methodology development, project management, training, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
