A black technologist, a social entrepreneur, and a dedicated mentor - these identities are at the root of how I navigate my career, academic interests, and community involvement. I believe that the BEST products don't just enable inclusion, but have DEI integrated into their very core. This belief led me to pursue my MBA at UC Berkeley Haas, where I currently serve as the Student Body President. My MBA is focused on upleveling my understanding of DEI, team leadership, and emotional intelligence as I learn what it takes to build global products with positive impact. The Black Technologist: The core of my technical foundation came from Georgia Tech. Graduating with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a Business Minor, and a Mandarin Minor, I've spent much of the last decade working within the Global Supply Chains of the world's most advanced manufacturers. Janssen Pharmaceuticals taught me quality & planning; Dow Chemical - logistics and data analysis; Georgia-Pacific - project management & sustainability. Most recently, 5 years at Intel honed my competencies in technical program management, LSS process improvement, and digital facilitation. The Social Entrepreneur: After founding and scaling a social entrepreneurship (CMD LLC) centered around career coaching and workforce development, the itch to make social impact has only grown. I believe good, inclusively built products should engage the mind, nourish the body, or support underserved communities. As a result, I focus on ideas around EdTech, Sustainable Food Systems, and Nonprofit Tech! The Dedicated Mentor: I believe in the restorative and strategic power of mentorship. Whether mentoring STEM / Business students from underserved or URM communities, coaching teams and managers as a Gallups-Certified Strengths Coach, or advising mentorship programs within organizations – mentoring has continued to be the most fulfilling part of my life.Want to chat about building products, social impact, or mentoring the next generation?
