Alex specialises in international project finance transactions, particularly in energy, infrastructure and resources. Mr. Blomfield has advised and represented project sponsors and investors, state-owned utilities, development finance institutions, lenders, petroleum producers, international consortia, and contractors in relation to the development, construction, financing, sale and purchase and/or privatisation of projects, located in over seventy-five countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and New South Wales, Australia. Alex was ranked in the ‘A Word about Wind’ Legal Power List 2020, which is the definitive rundown of the 100 most influential lawyers working on the financial side of wind energy.
