(Acting) Senior It Analyst
Current-Single-handedly developed a Canada wide and bilingual employee leave request management system using MS Access and Visual Basic that integrates within SharePoint Online. Employees can submit as well as view other employee leaves without seeing confidential information. Team Leaders can approve, edit, reject and cancel leave requests while the system automatically sends emails and updates availability on various calendars. The system has been used by over 400 users, in both English and French and processed over 2,500 leave requests.-Frequently maintained and updated an access management and general purpose tool installed on over 400 computers across Canada that automates numerous processes across multiple systems. Remedied multiple bugs with automation in systems such as Active Directory, Mainframe applications and MS Office as well as creating new frequently used features for users on the tool.-Managed the development, documentation and release of multiple tools through the use of project management software such as JIRA.-Tested and contributed effective feedback in both written code and logical process during the development of a new Framework designed to be a new bilingual and vision impaired accessible standard across the ITB Branch of the Canada Revenue Agency.-Trained numerous individuals how to create effective and digestible reports using Excel and PowerPoint for Senior Management that are visually interesting while also providing key insights to operations across Canada.-Individually provided near instant support for tools to both employees and Team Leaders, responding and remedying tool bugs with updates within a timespan of roughly 20 minutes while also ensuring code quality.-Created presentations and presented at multiple Canada wide town hall meetings. Presentations varied subject and covered topics such as team updates, tool updates and workstream updates.
