He is also the Global Operational Leader for PGS's Balanced Scorecard (BSC) which drives strategy and performance results across the PGS organization.Prior to this role, he worked as a Project Manager for engineering capital projects at the PGS manufacturing site located in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, he lead for the implementation of multiple large-scale equipment, facilities, utilities, and computer systems projects. He was also responsible for timeline and budget planning for various multimillion-dollar site-critical initiatives at the PGS Rocky Mount site.The first two years of Alex’s professional career were spent in Pfizer's rotational development program which was composed of 6-month rotations designed to provide accelerated training in multiple areas of pharmaceutical operations, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, operational excellence, supply chain, and validation. During his time as a PGS rotational colleague, Alex worked as a Program Manager under PGS Rocky Mount's Site Investigations Lead, where he was responsible for aiding in the management of continuous improvement initiatives for the site's investigations, M1 (Six Sigma Yellow Belt), and Pfizer Human Performance (PHP) programs. It was during this time, that he contributed to the investigations program experienced an approximate 20% decrease in the total number of open aged quality investigations.Alex also worked in the manufacturing, validation, and technical services departments at the PGS Rocky Mount site. He was responsible for the implementation of major compliance initiatives, executing protocols for the validation of new equipment, and conducting engineering studies for both aseptic and terminally sterilized (TS) filling lines.He currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering from The University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering.
