Alex holds a Masters degree in Architecture and has over ten years of experience working in the architecture industry in Australia, seven years of which he has worked for one of Canberra's leading architectural firms, Collins Pennington Architects. Throughout his short, yet rapidly progressing professional career, Alex has quickly developed an extensive understanding of architectural experience and knowledge in which he strives to improve upon with every project. Alex has a great passion for architecture and exploring the world and new opportunities which has driven him to take his career overseas to diversify his understanding of culture and architecture.His career to date has saw Alex work with a variety of architectural projects including educational developments, high-end residential projects, mixed use community installations, multi-unit residences and developments. Alex has excellent communication skills and architectural project management skills with a grounded understanding of leading the coordination of projects for a successful final delivery. Complimenting these skills, Alex has a solid understanding of construction and architectural detailing, he is efficient in the production of architectural documentation, and he has a creative and methodical mind which allows him to conceptualize and understand space and planning.Alex is an advanced user and highly proficient with a range of software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and being a fast learner, Alex has the capability of picking up new programs quickly and effectively to adapt to any professional environment.
