Working as a freelance producer for live and pre recorded in house and independently produced programmes at BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and the BBC Asian Network.

Creating the content for over 60 panel sessions and interviews at BBC Music Introducing's Amplify event. Over the course of 3 days there were panel sessions on how to get into the music industry. These offered an insight on key elements to consider in the music industry. As well as this there were headline talks from some of the biggest artists around. These offered exclusive guidance to up-and-coming artists - with acts interviewed by BBC DJ's on how they made their break, and what they’ve learned over the years being successful musicians.Each session was 45 minutes long, with each one covering a specific topic. Panellists from the top of their field answered questions put to them by a chair, in the hope of informing the audience on how to do it. Topics included; how to get written about as a new unsigned artist, how to be good on social media, how to get a manager, how to set up a label, how to self release your music, how to get you music out there as a bedroom DJ. All topics of panels aimed at a young audience looking to be a musician, be a manager, be a label manager, etc.The event was aimed at a young audience looking to get into music, and had all of the leading figures in the industry there to pass on their knowledge. Chris Price, head of R1 Music, Mike Smith, Head of Warner, Jamie Cullum, Melanie C, Blossoms, Annie Mac. I produced all the content for every session, and leading up to the event was the person panellist were contacting for a heads up on the line of questioning, and themes for the panel they were on. I was also in contact with all the presenters to make sure they were happy with the path the panel would take.

Producing Tom Robinson's Now Playing @6Music on BBC 6 Music and Yasser's BBC Introducing show on the Asian Network. During my time producing these shows they both posted record listening figures.

Gained valuable experience in live broadcast projects. When not doing this I produced for the Radio 2 strand Pause For Thought and also covered on TBI productions for BBC Radio 1 including Diplo, Benji B, B Traits and Craig Charles Funk and Soul show.

Other duties include sourcing music, track details for PRS, music reporting, booking studios for the pre recorded shows. During the live show I am across texts, emails, twitter and also live blogging, collecting guests from reception, photographing guests with presenter and uploading to show webpage. Researching new music, making beds, stings, idents and finding audio to out into the show that will work.

R4 programmes: Saturday Live, The Media Show, You&Yours, Woman's Hour, Front Row, Click, Material World, Inside Health, Inside The Ethics Committee, Health Check, Any Answers.Documentaries: Domesday Reloaded, Frankensteins Moon, Discovery, Archive Hour:100 Years of the Crossword.The highlight of my time at Radio 4 so far has been my work on documentary's which involves a lot of research, finding relevant archive material and editing.When working on the Radio 4 live shows my duties are varied: making sure the running order for the days show has all relevant guests details, lines and contact numbers on it and scripts are printed off in good time so the team can rehearse. When Peter White is presenting his scripts have to be brailed because he is blind; there are on average 7 scripts per show. During the show being across guests; making sure they are in the building and in the studio when they are needed, chasing up lines and guests that are not up/arrived yet. Keeping across timings for each item; this is very important as the show has a strict in and out time. Keeping the producer informed of where we are at time wise is the main responsibility during the live show. After the show I complete a detailed running order of the show in proteus, pay guests and add new contacts to the address book. I also help with research for future items.
