In recent years, Alex Callegari has gained popularity as a celebrity chef through his position as brand ambassador with multiple companies and his appearances on TV shows like Fox and Friends, The Steve Harvey Show, and the Food Network's Cooks vs. Cons. Moreover, Alex Callegari has placed in popular cooking events such as the Kansas City High-Steaks Invitational and the World Food Championships. He first began pursuing opportunities as a chef after winning the 2014 Steak-umm Firehouse Challenge while working as a firefighter for the City of Boca Raton Fire Rescue. Alex Callegari has served as a driver engineer and paramedic for the Florida-based fire department since 2005, during which time he has been responsible for responding to emergency alarms throughout the region as well as operating engines, connecting lines, and controlling hydraulic operations. In addition, he has helped organize numerous community charity cooking classes, including the Honor Flight Breakfast in support of World War II veterans. Finally, Mr. Callegari works as a strength and conditioning coach and nutritionist on behalf of more than 50 executives with the Miami, Florida-based MDM development group. He holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition from Florida State University and earned firefighter certification at Coral Springs Fire Academy.
