Alex has extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing overall Marketing (B2C and B2B), Branding, Marketing Research, Multi- and Cross-cultural Marketing, and Business Development. His solid and widespread knowledge of the marketing science comes from his graduate education, teaching and working experience in the fields of branding, marketing communications, and marketing research (i.e., Qualitative and Quantitative). His knowledge and experience comes from working as an employee, or as a consultant, on the following industries: Consumer Package Goods, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Beverages, Nonprofit, Retailing, Technology, Restaurant, Healthcare, Automobile, and Insurance. He has extensive business and marketing experience domestically and internationally. He has developed short- and long-term strategic marketing plans based on economic, consumer, and market data. His consumer insights and creative briefs have been developed for, and executed with, general (i.e., Caucasian) and multi-cultural consumers (i.e., Hispanics and Blacks) in The United States, Mexico, Central- and South-America, The Caribbean, and some of the Western European and Asian markets. On the last 13 years, he has been a business and marketing consultant for different type of industries. In addition, he has been teaching marketing and international business as an Associate Professor in the School of Business Administration at Cedarville University.Alex’s education includes a completed Ph.D. coursework in Business Administration—Marketing, Marketing Research, and Branding—from the University of Georgia (UGA); a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics—Marketing and Econometrics—from UGA also; and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Economics from Corporacion Universitaria Autónoma de Occidente, Colombia. Finally, he speaks English and Spanish fluently and conversational Portuguese.
