Worked on site in Derby, UK on the Rolls-Royce Test Bed 80 project as a key member of the core project team directly supporting the Senior Project Manager. I have been involved with the Test Bed 80 since the project kick off in June 2017, working through the project intiation, planning, design & procurement phases. I was worked on the planning , coordination and execution of key test systems installations & commissioning on site. I was also responsible for managing & updating the master project schedule and budget.

I spent my 16 month co-op work term working at MDS and it was an tremendous experience that will forever impact my career. I reported directly to the Vice President, Business Development Global and worked directly with the proposal managers and estimators on the development of various high priority proposals. My responsibilities included working with our internal engineers to develop the proposed solution, working with external suppliers, writing sections of the proposal, and updating the project estimates. I had the opportunity to facilitate and participate in many critical meetings with clients and suppliers. In June 2015, I was given the opportunity to represent MDS at the Paris at Le Bourget, France; this was an amazing opportunity to meet with various key clients and learn more about the industry. Overall it was a great co-op experience; one which I was able to learn but also contribute significantly.

As a teaching assistant I was responsible for aiding the students comprehension of differential equations. It was a challenging yet extremely rewarding position. I was responsible for developing my own 1-hour lesson plan that I felt would best help the students development. This included a practical explanation of the concepts followed by many relevant example problems. I was then responsible for delivering this lesson to a group of over 50+ students. I also conducted 1 on 1 tutoring sessions for students that needed extra help with the material. It was very rewarding when the majority of my students received very good grades in the course.
