Promoted to senior engineer within the Global Network Engineering groupResponsibilities included:• Defining hardware and configuration standards for all network devices and services across the organisation.• Initial deployment and support of that deployment for all new standards.• Setting strategic direction for the organisation's network infrastructure.• Collaborating with InfoSec, systems and business groups on projects.• Development of cloud standards including automated builds using python and Cloud Formation.• SME for Cisco Prime.• SME for Cisco Wireless.While in this role I was responsible for a project to automate network configuration tasks using Cisco Prime. Responsibilities included:• Troubleshoot and diagnose network/application issues across the region.• Configuration and management of all network and security devices across the APAC region for Reed Elsevier and LexisNexis offices and data centres.
