As a High School Teacher in the Business Faculty of Toronto Central Academy, I develop and teach business courses to students mainly in grades 11 and 12. Courses include Business Leadership, International Business, Presentation and Speaking Skills, and Information & Communication Technology.

As a Business English Professor for freshmen and sophomore students at Shanghai Business School, I developed and taught a variety of university courses, including Business English (1,2, and 3), Business English Communications, Business and Marketing Writing, and Hospitality English.I also led a team of 5 teachers, providing mentorship on teaching skills and ensuring smooth delivery of courses to partner universities.

As a Consulting Analyst, I focused on three major priorities: write long-form research relevant for CIOs, write short-form industry-specific research, and provide advisory services via phone or on-site workshops. My curiosity led me to work on a wide range of research areas, but the major topics I co-authored include digital strategy, business context, and contract review. I also wrote short-from industry notes on the evolving role of AI in education and of robotics in healthcare. In client advisory, I received an average quality rating of 9/10.

As a Residence Don, my strong relationship building and management skills have resulted in consistent positive feedback from student surveys. I also played a key leadership role in organizing a campus-wide volunteer tradeshow. I led my team through a busy and difficult time period by being understanding of each teammate's situation and by taking the lead on the recruitment of community partners, a task that my teammate's were less comfortable with. As a result, the event was a success 15 community partners.

As a Corporate Strategy Intern, I helped IO with its corporate objective of improving talent retention and development. I created a new career progression model that was championed by the staff, planted the roots for new training and mentorship programs, and saved the organization from hiring an HR consulting firm for the same tasks.I also analyzed the profitability and sustainability problem of Toronto Community Housing Corporation. From my analysis, I arrived at two recommendations and created a story to communicate them in a presentation to the Secretary of Cabinet.

As a Business Analyst, I identified ways to improve cost effectiveness. I performed quantitative analysis, which involved comparing the CFS's current performance and historical trend to the industry. I also interviewed section managers to understand, qualitatively, each section's unique situation, resulting in tailored recommendations to each section.My second major project was working with an engineering intern to create a new asset management database. My business acumen combined with my teammate's technical skills allowed us to meet user needs with high accuracy, giving users significant time savings of 67%.

As an Office Assistant, I improved the office's online and physical storage systems to be more organized and usable. I also assisted my coworkers with daily operational tasks.As a Receptionist, I answered calls from irate callers and listened to their concerns. I then responded with professionalism and a service mindset to build goodwill for the Ministry.

Night It Up! is an Asian festival that attracts over 150,000 over three days. The festival features street food, merchandise, games, sports, and more. During my term as Sponsorship Director, I coached my team on soliciting businesses for sponsorships, a task that most teammates were initially uncomfortable with. I also negotiated deals with potential sponsors to maximize benefits to both parties. As a result of my leadership, my team secured $25,000 in sponsorships, a 25% increase from the previous year.
