Manages day-to-day operations for a group of data management projects or key functions. May perform the Project Management role for studies that do not have a clinical component or act as Franchise Manager for allocated clients. Provides customer contract and functional, administrative, and financial oversight of assigned projects.

Act as Lead Clinical Data Manager for one or more studies, responsible for customer contact, functional, administrative and financial oversight for allocated projects. May perform the Project Management role for projects without clinical services, or act as a Clinical Data Management franchise Lead. Ensure the set-up activities for a study are performed correctly and in a timely manner. Perform study specific training and ensures staff are following current procedures. Represents Clinical Data Management at internal and external meetings and presentations.

Fulfill all data management cleaning activities in accordance with the Data Validation Manual (DVM) and/or client documentation. Designate tasks appropriately within the team ensuring all work conducted is completed to the acceptable quality in accordance with global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the DVM. Represent Clinical Data Management at internal and external meetings and presentations.

Performs all aspects of the data cleaning process, with minimal supervision and in accordance with GCPs and SOPs/WPDs. Key responsibilities are those of an Associate II and may support the Lead Data Manager by performing activities such as CRF design, database design and Data Validation Manual creation.

Responsible for coordination of research projects, graduate student assistance and laboratory management for the Hydrology and Sedimentology Lab at the Center for Marine Science. Requires project management in many aspects of marine science including project preparation, extensive data management, data analysis, and report writing for a variety of research projects as well as graduate student research. Duties include long term data maintenance for several projects, scientific sampling, and laboratory analysis. Data processing and analysis areas consist of hydrology, grain size characterization, sediment transport, benthic infauna and flow velocities. Major projects include the Cape Fear River Dredging Project, Coastal Ocean Research Maintenance Program (CORMP) and the Flow velocity Effects on Sediment Transport in the Florida Everglades in coordination with Florida International University.
