This includes, but is not limited to, script writing, creative direction of performers, all creative elements of events, budgeting, personnel management, inter-departmental relationships, working with third party designers and contractors, and all other functions that would fall to the Event and Entertainment Productions team.

• Manages the shipboard entertainment operations and experience of a group of 7 ships and oversee the execution and performance delivery of the Entertainment programming and product.• Reviews and evaluates shipboard performance using analytics and trends to determine program needs and opportunities.• Works closely with the Director, Entertainment Experience; Senior Director, Entertainment; and Hotel Directors in creating strategic and effective business plans as it relates to Entertainment to support NPS and overall Hotel Operations and the Guest Experience.• Supports the implementation of new and current policies and procedures, programming and creative/executional standards, project roll outs, and developing shipboard entertainment talent.• Has a core focus in managing the strategy, operations and identifying opportunities for enhancements and oversee the creative direction for the Comedy Club, Variety Entertainment, and Enrichment experiences.• Develops and maintains industry contacts to attract top caliber comedians to ensure the appropriate maintenance and scheduling of the roster.

The Manager of Guest Entertainment and Enrichment scouts talent, manages operations and budgets, and develops the product for the Guest Entertainment and Enrichment Department of the Carnival Cruise Line fleet of 26 ships. Currently manages a roster of over 250 Comedians, Comedy Club Hosts, Variety Acts, Lecturers, and Naturalist that perform in the main show lounges and Punchliner Comedy Clubs across the Carnival fleet.

The Entertainment Director will serve as the department head for the entertainment department. While embracing the Carnival Service Values, the CCL commitment to Safety and abiding by all rules and regulations set by the Team Carnival Shipboard Handbook, the Ent Dir will be responsible for the overall operational efficiency of the department. He will focus on quality control of personnel, technical issues and the guest experience through tracking and reporting. The Ent Dir will be responsible (with shore side direction) for entertainment scheduling onboard. The Ent Dir will also use strategic scheduling for generating revenue. He will also have significant responsibility for ensuring the department is abiding by all safety regulations and prepared for both internal and external audits. Lastly, the Ent Dir will be responsible for many of the media elements onboard for entertainment such as FunTimes, FunHub and digital signage.

Production and operational manager of all large scale event product for the park, including Food & Wine Festival, Concert Series, Bier Fest, Howl-O-Scream, and Christmas Town. - In charge of creative development and project management, planning and maintaining budgets, and daily operation and maintenance.- Casting and training for over 400 employees, including performers, technicians, and stage managers.- Direction of live performances such as interactive dining experiences, various haunted houses, and atmospheric entertainment.

In charge of the creative maintenance and operation of all daily live show productions.- Successfully opened and maintained 16 shows throughout the season, including Celtic Fyre, London Rocks, Roll Out the Barrel, and Scrooge No More.- Assisted with the operations of audition tour, casting, and hiring of over 200 seasonal team members.- Developed and supervised a successful stage management and backstage support team.

Assisted tour manager in setting up dressing rooms, creating daily schedules, advancing with venues, and any and all assigned duties from the tour manager. Worked directly with the band, MxPx.
