Over the summer of my sophomore year at Cal Poly, I worked at the bulk freezer company Preferred Freezer Services as a Junior Project Engineer. I helped to set up data acquisition hardware and software for the company's minus 60 (Celsius) freezers, to organize databases regarding freezer volume, and I managed the delivery, receipt, and installation of LED fixtures to the Chatham corporate HQ.

Throughout my high school career, I worked as a laser tag referee, making sure groups of up to 100 players understood the rules and enjoyed themselves while under my supervision. In between parties, I spent time diagnosing problems with guns and repairing them accordingly.

I shadowed an employee at Hanger, Inc. Orthotics and Prosthetics for one marking period during my senior year of high school. In this time, I spent every other weekday learning about the intricacies prosthetic and orthotic devices. Much of my time was used to work on creating orthotic leg braces that were given to patients. As a final project, I designed and made my own orthotic leg brace.
