I led the engineering team that builds and runs the subscription platform for our billion-dollar (and growing) subscription business.

Collaborated with other SMEs and Instructional Designers to develop a training curriculum and lectures/labs for a back-end Java Software Developer training program (Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, MongoDB, ELK stack, Jenkins for CI/CD, and more).

I helped students learn how to build Web apps with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Leading political parties in Quebec used the VoteFocus SaaS application to run their GOTV campaigns in provincial and municipal elections over several years. I designed, built, and supported the app on a part-time basis.

Telecom software development and consulting. A few examples of the applications that I developed are listed below. (2003-2004 full-time, 2005+ part-time)GoGoPoints.com -- Earn points by participating in interactive SMS/text ad campaigns (trivia, quizzes, contests, and more), then redeem points for cool stuff.IVRlive.com -- A platform to quickly and easily create interactive voice response (IVR) applications. I built and deployed several applications for clients in the Gaming and Entertainment industry on this platform.Hector -- Emergency assistance app for seniors (Android).

As a venture-backed startup spun out of a software research lab at Carnegie Mellon University, we provided source code analysis tools to help Java software development teams find and prevent bugs in their multi-threaded code -- race conditions, deadlocks, unsafe access to shared state, and other kinds of concurrency problems. I was the first Field Applications Engineer to join SureLogic. I was hired to work closely with clients and technology partners to deliver our products and to discover new requirements for Engineering.

As a consultant here, I built test automation tools for SIP-based push-to-talk services for Sprint/Nextel. I also spent a lot of time snowboarding in Boulder, CO, and that was amazing! (Java).

Our whole Compuware office of 200 people in Montreal worked for one client, Morgan Stanley. My team built a Tax engine that would calculate how much tax to withhold on a variety of different securities transactions. (Java, MQSeries)

As a consultant at SpeechWorks (acquired by Nuance), I worked on an embedded speech recognition system for an automotive client (C programming).

My Master's research was supported by Ericsson Research Canada. Our research team at Concordia University collaborated with Ericsson to build a prototype of a Service Creation Environment and Service Execution Environment for Telecom platforms supporting the Parlay/OSA API standard.
