In the months following the strategic shift at GE Capital, Dimitrief helped to lead GE Capital’s reorganization and agreements to sell over $120 billion in assets and oversaw GE’s successful petition to decertify GE Capital as a non-bank Systemically Important Financial Institution (SIFI), the first such decertification granted by the Financial Stability Oversight Council.
