I am an SD State graduate with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a minor in computer science. Currently, I work at Sweeney Controls Company as Control System Specialist. Sweeney Controls is an innovative provider of control systems and solutions for water, wastewater, and grain process controls. This includes everything from system design, PLC programming, HMI programming, and system startup to troubleshooting and maintenance.In the Fall of 2014 I enrolled in the mechanical engineering program at South Dakota State University. I graduated in 2018 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in computer science. My first post-grad position was at SpecSys, Inc in Montevideo, MN. SpecSys is a full-service engineering and manufacturing contracting firm, specializing in mobile equipment. I worked with the engineering team as a mechanical engineer, specializing in controls engineering. For a short time I was the lead design engineer at Kleinn Air Horns in Tucson, AZ developing direct-fit bolt-on aftermarket automotive pneumatic systems.
