Current Employment Roles At Durham Pattern & Model:▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔- Understanding Application and Interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing(GD&T)- Offset, Manipulate & Stitch Surface Boundaries Along With 3D Modelling To Generate Solid Buildable Entities.- Responsible for Working Directly with Engineers to Change and/or Create 3D Parametric Models and Assemblies Resulting in Detailed/Itemized 2D Drawings.- Coordinate with Multiple Project Design Disciplines Including CAM, CNC, Toolmaker, CMM & Quality Control Departments.- Set-Up and Maintain An Organized File System For New & Ongoing Projects.- Compile Information on Waste Reduction, Quantities & Scope Then Determine Materials Required.- Verifying Work for Accuracy, Completeness of Work, and Compliance to Customer Standards.- Deliver Complete and Accurate Project Models/Designs Within Scheduled Parameters.- Participate and Contribute in Design Reviews with Customers to Understand and Deliver the Best Overall Results Possible.- Proficient with Computers and Software, Including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc...)- Shaping the Vision that Drives Core Development of New Types of Innovative Procedures/Products.- 9+ Years of Progressive CAD/Building Experience in Solids, Surfacing, 2D Drawings, Concepts & Development.- Possess a Working Knowledge of Drafting Practices & Familiarity with CAD Principles.- Exercise Initiative in Completing Assignments Independently or Collaboratively to Accomplish Assignments.- Understand Design Scope and Deliverables, Perform Design, Deliver Models and Drawings, Correspond, Communicate and Collaborate with Other Disciplines.- Responsible for Accuracy and Completeness of Drawings Regarding Clarity, Fit, Views, Dimensioning and Conformance to Company Standards.- Develop and Communicate Strategies that Steer the Organization Toward New and Innovative Products and/or Procedures.
