Following leadership changes, Alex stepped in and played a pivotal role in steering both TRC and Tavistock Freebirds World Burrito through a period of substantial change. During his earlier years at Tavistock, he drove value enhancement for the portfolio via involvement in M&A, acquisition integration, franchise management, and marketing. Before joining Tavistock, Alex was at Asset Management Group as director of leasing, where he drove value enhancement for a portfolio of 26 grocery-anchored shopping centers with a GLA of 1.5M sq. feet. Prior to this, he was at The Bergman Companies, where he drove all aspects of new development for the Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market (TESCO) in the Bay Area.Holding a JD from Georgetown University, Alex is licensed to practice in Texas and California. He also holds a BA, cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans, is a member of YPO, and currently sits on the advisory boards at Now Cuisine, Qu Beyond, and on the board of the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA), while serving as a board of trustee for the TRA PAC.
