Hi, I'm Alexei and I'm a 23 year old data science graduate from UC San Diego. I recently finished my undergraduate degree and moved back to the bay area in search of work. I'm interested in a data science related field, and I have the skills to do data management, data cleaning, predictive modeling (ML and DL), or data analytics. During my time at UCSD I had the opportunity to be part of Triton AI a student lead club that focuses on building the hardware and software for an autonomous Go-Kart which competes yearly. This experience helped prepare me for what working on a real life product, with real deadlines was like, and pushed me to develop new skills as a data scientist, individual, and as a co-worker. Outside of school, I am also fortunate enough to have hands on data science experience when I interned for JSR Micro, doing predictive modeling on a chemical fluid filtration system. This internship allowed me to work with a large network of datasets and gave me the platform to practice all that I had been learning in the classroom. I was specifically able to become more comfortable with multiple aspects of the data science process such as data cleaning, model training, and prediction. Since graduating I have mostly been working as an AI/ML trainer for Pareto.AI. This opportunity has allowed me to further work in AI and has helped me better understand the relationship and importance that the data a model trains off of has with the performance and fit of an AI model.Apart from career life I also have always been passionate about athletics and have been involved in soccer, hockey, and at times football pretty much throughout my childhood. In college, I continued my hockey career and was part of the club ice hockey team for all 4 years. On the ice I was an assistant captain in my Junior year and the captain of the team my senior year. I also held leadership positions, serving as the club's VP and president.
