The project focused on supply chain management, where I was developing a system that facilitated seamless coordination and efficient management of product flows among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and customers. The project operated under the Vendor Managed Inventory business model, which entrusted suppliers with inventory management responsibilities at customer locations. My responsibilities included designing and implementing a Rest API that integrated with a relational database and various AWS services like Amazon SQS to develop features related to integration with various IoT devices. In our project, it was required generating a lot of analytical reports by setting up jobs using JobJunr and Quartz, and storing data in Amazon S3. I gained experience in email management and sending through Amazon SES. Throughout the project, I contributed to the development of proofs-of-concept (PoC) and conducted internal demos to showcase the system's capabilities. I also collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless application integration with existing systems. Additionally, I conducted unit and integration testing, effectively resolving bugs and performance issues.
