In this role, I supervised the maintenance of Material Master and BOMs for the entire Americas portfolio. This involved the creation, modification, and deactivation of Master Data records for packaging materials and finished goods while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity. As a Power User and SME, I provided first-level data request support to cross-functional partners, troubleshot MM issues, trained end-users and new employees, and performed UAT for required system upgrades or new business configurations.• I initiated the implementation of regular data consistency verifications for specifications integrity and data quality, particularly for the areas where automated checks or links were unavailable, ensuring proper specifications availability and production continuity.• I continuously discovered ways to improve the team’s service quality and to foster a collaborative environment by educating colleagues on technical processes, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, offering documented processes and procedures, and creating convenient, standardized templates and worksheets.• I supported a global team in the specification creation for a newly-acquired entity as part of a data integration initiative, which required me to relocate to the central office in Germany, for two weeks.• I constantly identified ways to optimize MM creation/modification for new projects to maintain data accuracy, timely completion, and regulatory compliance, at any given time.
