I am the co-founder and CTO at NextG, a company that provides website development services with Wordpress and Shopify. Primarily we are working with SAAS companies to deliver corporate websites for their marketing teams, with custom shops to improve their functionality and increase their indicators, and last but not least with digital marketing agencies who want level up the quality of their client's websitesAs a developer, I started my journey 10 years ago. And for the first 5 years, I mostly worked as a freelancer. It was that cool experience that gave me the opportunity not just to think about how to make this or that functionality, but to look at things from the client's side. And of course, it gave me experience in communicating with clients.I've worked in a colobarization with a lot of development companies and I realized that developers think more about code than about what the client or user or business needs and I wanted to change that, so I created NextG.I have worked with a huge number of technologies: PHP frameworks (Zend, Symfony, Yii, Laravel), different CMSs (Wordpress, Magento, Drupal, Opencart, Shopify), JS frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and of course with a couple of nodejs frameworks, as well as pure nodejs. And since I love development, besides that I also know well C# for developing games and desktop apps and Flutter for developing phone apps. Thanks to this experience, I realized that it is not necessary to use complex technologies on most of the projects. It only increases the cost of development and nothing else. And that regular Wordpress will be enough for most projects. That's why Wordpress was chosen as the main direction of NextG.At NextG we worked with different SAAS companies: DataHug who were then bought out by SAP, Workvivo, which is now part of Zoom, and Glofox who became part of ABCfitness and we continued to work with them. Because we put business goals ahead of technology, we quickly find common ground with the marketing departments of such companies. But that doesn't mean we don't like making functional websites, we just know where it's needed and where it's not. For example, one of our clients is mammutmarsch, a popular company in Germany among all those who love active sports.
