In Amazon I found my other passion: helping others develop their potential, and that’s the reason why I worked on my career path and got promoted to manager. There I truly developed my potential as a leader.

Since I started working on Amazon I decided to take this as a learning experience that would help me develop my career. I learned the high standards of Amazon, how to delight customers with a great experience, how to apply the leadership principles to almost everything I do. My favorite leadership principle is Customer Obsession because that's where everything starts, that's the core of the rest of the principles.

This was the first time I worked at a call center. Here I started to learn about how to help customers while providing the best experience. Here I definitely developed my skills of working under high pressure.

I was a legal assistant at the biggest firm in the south of Costa Rica. There I started to learn the benefits of being organized and having a systematic approach to services. I also started to develop a taste for learning about law and how to properly apply it to each scenario. My job was to assist the lawyer in charge of registering new companies into the Costa Rican National Registry.
