Academic Senate Undergraduate Representative, June 2017 – July 2020. Sat on “Academic Standards and Quality Committee” and the Discipline Committee. Having served on the executive body of multiple Student Societies I was fortunate to be provided the opportunity to be appointed to the MSO (Major Student Organisation) assisting the university in the constitution of policy that would assist Student Groups in their running. Policies I helped create and their benefits follow:1. Advocated for funding to be put aside for t-shirts for student clubs with their logo. 1.1 By buying bulk the university was able to save costs instead of having student groups individually buy tshirts on their own.1.2 Ensured that the Macquarie Name was visually represented at intervarsity events which was previous not always evident. 2. The created of "banner pegs" in the central courtyard for student groups to advertise their groups.2.1 Allowed for societies to raise their profile with in the university environment.
