My love for business and people has taken me around the world and back again.During my time at the University of Kentucky, I studied Business Management, International Business, and Social Enterprise. I took my skills beyond the classroom by working on the intern team at Zipie Advertising, founding and running an arts-education 501(c)3, and taking on a marketing and communications role at ExecuTrain. I went abroad to study social impact enterprise in Cape Town, South Africa, and worked as a business development consultant and volunteer English and math tutor for elementary school children. After returning from South Africa, I had a huge desire in me to see more of the world and its unique cultures and embarked on another study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I cultivated my language skills and love for exploration.Upon graduation, I was crowned Miss Kentucky 2019 and began my year of service to the state. One of my primary roles is being the Spokesperson for the Kentucky Proud label through the Kentucky State Department of Agriculture. My time was spent educating on behalf of and advocating for local producers in schools and communities. On a regular week, I was honored to attend State Government events, speak at schools, assist at charity events, and promote the mission of the Miss America and Kentucky Proud in person and virtually. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was asked to serve an additional term as Miss Kentucky 2020, ultimately becoming the longest-reigning Miss Kentucky in history.I have a passion for people and a love for adventure, and I'm hoping to use my vast array of skills to marry the two and create a huge impact on Kentucky and beyond.
