I am a sophomore in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, studying to get my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Supply Chain Management and a collateral in International Business. I’ve always been able to communicate and connect with the people surrounding me, and this led to me becoming the second-in-command at my part-time painting job. I was able to gain the respect of my coworkers, and could explain our tasks to them and how to do these tasks, in a clear, efficient manner. My goal out of my career is to pursue an Operations Management job, or a job of similar nature, within any different industry. I recognize that supply chain operations are integral to every industry in today's world, which means my career path might lead me to a multitude of different areas. I'm excited to get my foot in the door with supply chain, and I look forward to deepening my knowledge of specific positions through further schooling and a summer internship. With my studies leading me in an international direction, I would also be interested in working with an international company, or in a position coordinating with overseas partners/manufacterers.
