Toronto Foundation for Student Success (TFSS) is an organization that advocates for students and initiates programs to help students deal with hunger and poverty and the impacts that come with those determinants of health.As an SNP (Student Nutrition Program) Support Coordinator, I support the financial and operational aspects of the Student Nutrition Programs across over 90 different schools. I review monthly financial reporting and assist the schools with budgeting needs. I ensure that the program is meeting the nutritional and food safety guidelines and I assist site coordinators with planning af fordable menu options.

Playmaker is a digital sports media company that lives at the intersection of sports, betting, media and technology. I was responsible for reading over financial statements to check for errors, gathering invoices for tax returns, emailing customers regarding overdue invoices.

The Tea Room is an environmentally sustainable cafe location on the Queen's University campus. The provides food and beverages made with ingredients supplied by locally source and environmental vendors.I am responsible for taking orders and suggesting or explaining menu items to customers with a positive attitude. I am also responsible working with other baristas to prepare, make, and serve sandwiches, pastries, and beverages in a timely manner.

Feeding Our Future is a summer program that responds to household food insecurity and the increase during the pandemic. Volunteers help package hundreds of food and resource kits, which are delivered to partner community organizations and donated to families with children each day.I oversee teams of volunteers and help provide daily orientations, encourage volunteers and support the production of the food kits. I engage in ongoing communication with social service agency partners regarding upcoming production and delivery schedules. Other activities in my role included excel data organization and survey clean up.

Walkhome is a student-run safety service at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. As a service staff, I provide anonymous, confidential, and safe walks to students both on campus and within the Kingston community.

The committee is made of AMS worker and employee representatives and meets to discuss how to maintain and improve the health and safety conditions in the workplace.
