I am a Ph.D. chemist with subject matter expertise in organic chemistry and biochemistry. I have over a decade of research experience focused in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, molecular and cell biology, and optical imaging. I also have broad technical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, biochemical and cell-based assays, microscopy, and in vitro and in vivo models of cancer and infectious disease. I am well-versed in oral and written communication, gained through over two dozen peer-reviewed publications, patents, and numerous scientific presentations to professional audiences.
