• Overseeing daily news content and team of reporters• Leading the editing process for IIB’s slate of e-newsletters• Writing daily content for IIB newsletters, website and radio• Anchoring morning IIB Radio reports and filling in for other reports as needed• Overseeing IIB’s social media channels and updates to IIB website

• Answering incoming sales calls and converting those into members of Angie’s List using strategic sales tactics.• Using critical thinking skills to take any caller’s need and turn it into a sellable opportunity.

• Writing and reporting on various news stories as assigned• Covering any breaking news including severe weather and Amber Alerts• Proofreading news stories before posting them to station web site• Updating station web site (WIBC.com) with the latest news stories and features• Reporting traffic during afternoon drive show• Monitoring station’s social media accounts and updating them with breaking news• Anchoring top of the hour and bottom of the hour newscasts
