I joined MB2 Dental Solutions establishing their first in-house graphics and marketing department. I took them out of the world of Word Doc flyers and outsourced marketing design work to create and maintain their brand identity as well as those of their 20+ dental practices. Beyond bringing my production experience and industry ties with me to assist in creating more professional graphics, one of my first successful efforts was saving the company thousands on their print production and direct mail marketing costs. Additionally, I established individually branded websites for all of their clients and moved each into the world of social media marketing with Facebook and Twitter.

Founded in early 2000, HeroRealm.com became a new and different voice in the world of online comics journalism. The website quickly became an outspoken voice in the industry with commentary and interviews with industry professionals during a time of rapid change in the industry.The website quickly grew from it's humble first day with only twenty unique visitors to tens of thousands per day in a few short years. Key to our success was our unique approach to covering comics and other media. Our interviews were conversational, our topics spoke to what the fans wanted to discuss, and our coverage influenced the positive sales of upstart comic publishers coming onto the scene during HeroRealm's heights.Some of my writings for HeroRealm.com were quoted on titles like Mark Millar's 'Wanted,' Brian Michael Bendis' 'Powers' trade paperbacks and elsewhere across multiple publishers and titles.

Co-conceptualized a comic book universe at the height of the publishing boom. Worked with writers, artists and digital colorists (at a time when digital coloring was just coming onto the scene) to create our first title, "Slayer." Enlisted cover artists (Boris Vallejo, John Bolton and Joe Quesada) to produce eye-grabbing covers and worked with marketing companies to promote our debut comic to the widest possible market. Negotiated the best production costs. Initiated discussions with actress Brinke Stevens for a licensed publishing deal of her title "Brinke of Eternity."
