I grew up in Canada, Switzerland, and India in a mixed-race family, where I developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and inclusivity. I began my career studying architecture, which I believe is the original startup bootcamp. Eager to start my journey, I left school in my early 20s to found a student travel company. Over the next 12 years, the company became the largest student travel organization in North America, with over 500 employees and nearly 100,000 students traveling annually.After stepping down as CEO, I took an extended paternity leave to travel with my family and enjoy the joys and challenges of raising my daughter. I now focus on helping businesses grow as an investor and advisor, with a particular interest in travel and technology. I’m also passionate about supporting ventures tackling major global challenges like renewable energy, cooperatives, land stewardship, and promoting healthy lifestyles, including a vegetarian diet.
