Once I realised that the term ‘career’ was not always synonymous with boring, monotonous work, I threw in the travelling (beach) towel that had been distracting me for the better half of my 20’s to pursue a career in Marketing, Events + PR. I've worked in all marketing sectors; B2B and B2C, digital and traditional, agency and in-house, in both London + Melbourne - before finding my niche in the hospitality and events industry. Through my love of events and my desire to explore new marketing methods, I stumbled upon the use of GIF booths (digital photo booths) as a powerful social media marketing tool. So I ran with it, launching my start-up Melbourne GIF Booth - which soon became Sydney GIF Booth and more recently Brisbane GIF Booth. I've had to draw on my experience in events and also my understanding of what corporates want from a KPI perspective when booking an activation such as ours.
