Working in the commercial wing of Enactus Southampton, advising BluPoint on website design. The earnings from the work completed with BluPoint are used to fund social enterprise projects, empowering people and changing lives through entrepreneurial spirit.

Duties include taking orders, serving customers food, making a range of hot, cold and alcohol drinks. I adapted quickly to the functions of the cafe/bar. I was also keen on building a rapport with all the customers in the cafe, as many of them were regular visitors.

My duties included taking orders, serving customers food, making a range of hot drinks, preparing cold food items such as sandwiches, baguettes and salads, preparing basic hot food items (paninis and breakfasts), taking weekly stock counts, washing dishes and all kitchen equipment, cleaning food preparation areas and cleaning restrooms. I adapted quickly to the functions of the café and was able to assist more recent employees in their induction.
