As lead for UK and International Placements & Partnerships for one of the leading Business Schools in the UK, I am responsible for:• Researching and identifying potential partners that align with our strategic goals.• Managing partners through the entire lifecycle; from initial negotiation and contract signing to ongoing management and performance evaluation.• Strategy development: working with senior leadership to define partnership strategies and goals then developing and implementing plans to achieve those goals.• Driving effective communication; being the main point of communication for all partners and ensuring a positive experience for all.• Collaborating cross functionally with marketing, academics and senior leadership to maximise the impact of placements for the Business School.• Monitoring and analysing partnership performance metrics and preparing reports and recommendations for improvements.• Staying informed of industry trends, competitor activity and market dynamics to identify new partnership opportunities.• Developing positive B2B relationships with SMEs and enterprise organisations in the UK and globally.• Providing comprehensive consultancy, advice, and guidance to support organisations’ business planning and achievement of organisational objectives• Overseeing business development and partner marketing campaigns, including exhibiting at industry events, hosting partnership webinars, creating partnership newsletters, social media strategy, content creation (explainer videos, articles, guides and brochures).• An advocate and driving force for Cardiff Business Schools placement proposition. • Experience in using and streamlining CRM systems, including Salesforce and HubSpot.• An experienced team manager with a player-coach approach.

During my time at GO Wales I built strategic relationships with hundreds of companies; offered a range of services to help Welsh businesses recruit, retain and develop graduate level skills and future business leaders. Key Responsibilities:• The management of Jobs Growth Wales, as part of the GO Wales Placement Partnership Programme.• Develop sustainable relationships with a variety of organisations and stakeholders across Wales to promote GO Wales.• Delivery of workshops to relevant students, and promoting the benefits of the GO Wales across a number of academic schools.• Promoting the GO Wales programme to graduates in partnership with key stakeholders such as Careers Wales, Universities, and Jobcentre Plus.

Responsible for: • The initiation and UKAS certification of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems within Educ8.• The management and action planning of scheduled internal and 3rd party audits. • The analysis of services provided to customers in the aim of developing new ways to better satisfy customer needs.Key Achievements:• Development of a ISO 9001 Quality Management System tailored to the needs and demands of a private training company.• A Super User of the Maytas 5 Learning Management System.

Responsible for: • The effective management of all commercial and tendered training programmes delivered by Educ8. This business ranged from short courses to longer work based qualifications within a variety of growth sectors. • Line management of 7 specialist tutors, a successful Jobs Growth Wales (JGW) team and a training coordinator, whereby excellent leadership and managerial skills were developed. This was an extremely fulfilling role and one that had a positive impact on so many learners, many unemployed.Key Achievements:• I brought more structure to the training department, using Prince2 methodology to ensure Educ8 consistently exceeded customer expectations. It was this commitment to structure and high quality that lead to my progression into Quality Manager within Educ8. • Management of a successful Jobs Growth Wales (350 starts) and a Supported Employment Programme (58 starts) within Educ8. During my time at Educ8, the company had the largest contract for JGW and I was proud of the impact we made in the local community as a result of the programme.

Responsible for:• The strategic lead for club, coach and volunteer development across Herefordshire & Worcestershire, with a focus on increasing participation.• Organising and facilitating the delivery of a Club, Coach & Volunteer Training Education Programme.• Delivering quarterly NGB Sports Action Group meetings and annual conferences for clubs, coaches and volunteers across Herefordshire & Worcestershire.• Management of a regional Coach Bursary Scheme (£28,000)• Management of a Workforce Development Plan across Herefordshire & Worcestershire (£411,730)• Regional lead on the identification and promotion of funding opportunities available to the area.Key Achievement:• Sports Development lecturer within Worcester University and at the forefront of club, coach and volunteer development across the West Midlands area.• Supporting a variety of new sports clubs to establish themselves within the community.

Responsible for: • Reducing anti-social behaviour, drug abuse and unemployment, whilst increasing healthy active lifestyles, using sports as a vehicle.• Tailoring a sports & activities programme to the needs and demands of a deprived area. • Developing sustainable links with community sport and activity clubs.Key Achievement:• Brought over £40k worth of funding into a deprived area of Newport• Established strong school-club links and several new volunteers living within the community, helping to sustain sport and activity programmes into the future.
