I was promoted to Lead Developer to continue and further my impact within Skip. I lead multiples teams to implement a time-sensitive and business-critical competitive feature: Delivery Pass for the Customer experience. In 30 days, I integrated with multiple teams (from product to development), managed expectations, designed the solution's architecture while I gave each team the freedom to exercise their own expertise within their own domains. We delivered it on time.I have since been given the reins on SimTheDishes, an internal behavioural simulation tool to address an expensive problem: the cost of development and reliability at an estimated $4.8 million price tag. We do this by decreasing our time to delivery for features and bug fixes while also increasing our confidence in reliability. My work reduces the cognitive load on other developers by eliminating their need to interface with many other teams and understand other domains; we also raise confidence in our own platform by providing a panopticon perspective on application behaviour from the user's perspective. This is all made possible because the team I lead does all of that hard work and codifies it into sets of simulations and workflows for customers, couriers, and restaurants, written into an internal tool, and delivered to all teams across the globe. At the click of a button, we know if any change by any team impacts processes we need to have working 100% of the time.

Supported the Customer-facing application (the Skip app) with great code, interfacing and integrating with other teams, delivered through CI/CD pipelines, and deployed on AWS. I frequently reviewed our (and other) team's code to raise the standards and level of quality. I then started leading our architecture towards a sensible modernized approach using modules, including the deconstruction of a monolithic critical service into multiple smaller services for improved maintainability.

The primary focus was integrating Oracle's Primavera suite of products into existing business solutions with multiple clients. Business rules were integrated into Primavera P6 with Oracle's publish API for Java while the integration with Contract Management was largely through modification of database schema objects including functions, triggers, and through custom Java services.The secondary focus included B2B application maintenance including large-scale refactoring and legacy code updates.
