Operational Start-Up Lead (Osl)/Regional Management Role
Current• Lead the planning, configuration, hardware, and integration of SMART MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY at new plants opening throughout the US. Establish new data centers and system/app deployment. Oversee connectivity, testing, troubleshooting, and security of all connected devices and technology. • Administer MULTI-COMPONENT, NETWORKED EQUIPMENT that service multi-department areas, including inventory, robotics, demand management, financials, and production. Leverage monitoring and cybersecurity software to harden the IT infrastructure and provide predictable protections. • Coordinate project milestones with the Factory Leadership Team (FLTs) that includes the Plant Manager, QA Manager, Engineers, Staff Trainers, Maintenance, Accounting, and HR. Work with TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT TEAMS to improve the network’s overall performance, features, and growing requirements. • Work with a TEAM OF 4 SENIOR TECHNICIANS at the Eden and Batavia locations, discussing implementation milestones against the forecasted 2024-2025 launch plans for each new facility. Provide ongoing support and coaching to further advance top priorities. • Communicate with automation/robotics companies and electrical contractors amongst other third-party service providers that DELIVER CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING INNOVATIONS. Ensure contract compliance and quality performance amongst all teams.• Support a $2M OPERATIONAL BUDGET earmarked for setting up new smart manufacturing facilities. Oversee operating expenses (OPEXs) associated with hardware (e.g., routers, switches), software licensing, and managed service contracts that monitor uptime, usage, and overall performance. • Propose CONTINUOUS SYSTEM HARDENING, CHANGE CONTROLS, and other ADVANCED CONFIGURATIONS that further reduce risks across the complete internet of things (IoT). For example, oversaw the installation of TR cabinets (Nema 9/12 rated) used to increase the lifespan of networked equipment.
