Whilst working as a truck mechanic I regularly serviced and repaired our fleet. Once I was more familiar with processes and competent to do so, I would go to breakdowns/ punctures and carry out on the road repairs. The culmination of these skills allowed me to prepare trucks for M.O.T.'s.

Phoenix Commodity Partners specialises in London Metal Exchange (LME) products. Whilst there I continued to build my knowledge of the market and form strong bonds with clients. I left as I could no longer manage the travel arrangements.

Tower Metals (a division of Tower Broking Ltd) was an LME brokerage that provided a confidential service to major commodity trading groups. Within this enterprise I started as a Clerk where my duties included; conversing with clients over the phone/ through instant messaging, processing the orders received onto tickets, allocating them to their respective brokers and sending the trades off for clearing. I was then promoted to the role of Trainee Broker as a result of passing my UK Financial Regulation and Eurex Trader exams. In this role I was shadowing senior Brokers, learning how to use FFastfill (a trading platform) and broking for clients under the supervision of senior members of staff.

I opened corporate accounts for FairFX under the title Sales Executive. In this role I talked with companies, charities, schools and generally businesses that operated internationally. I offered foreign exchange rates in line with the live market thus providing the best possible rates. Whilst in this position I bettered my interpersonal skills and gained a good understanding of the FX Industry.
