I am a current student at University of Maryland Global Majoring in Cybersecurity Technology, and a minor in Information Technology Management Systems but I have interests in data analytics, technical diagnostics, system administration, network administration, and engineering as well. I am a member of The National Honor Society of Leadership and Success and I plan on getting my advanced and executive certificates from the program. I volunteer my time in my neighborhood helping people with their technology issues and assisting them with anything they might need. I also pick up trash around my neighborhood and along local roads to do my part in keeping my environment clean.In middle and high school I was a Rotary Youth Leadership Academy nominee and participant as well as a prominent team member for the local Robotics team Cold Logic 3617 for 3 years. I held a position as an event planner but I also helped clean and build robots and test courses as part of the team. I often stayed for long hours after school and on the weekends. I was a frequent volunteer for many places including the local 906 Adventure Team, The Jacobetti Home for Veterans and a children’s museum where I handled and cared for the reptiles and children. I was also in a program called MYOI for youth in foster care and I get many volunteer and public speaking opportunities as well as life skills through the program. I hope to one day soon give back to this program by helping other foster youth.Success, my love of knowledge, and my love of technology are what drives me through my goals. I carry a lot of empathy throughout my daily life and my want to help others is another reason that fuels me on my path. I am driven, determined, creative, and my positivity can be infectious.
