I am a Consultant Allergist and Clinical Immunologist in the Allergy Department at the Attikon University Hospital in Athens.I received my MD in 2004, from Universita degli Studi di Firenze, Florence, Italy with a dissertation thesis on anti TNF monoclonal antibodies therapy in patients with Behcet's disease under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Maggi. I continued my postdoctoral studies in autoimmune diseases at the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology of Florence and in 2005 I received a fellowship grant from the University of Florence, which gave me the opportunity to continue my studies in the field of allergy and immunology. I completed my specialty in allergy and clinical immunology in 2008 with a dissertation thesis on systemic erythematous lupus under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Maggi.I became consultant in allergy and clinical immunology at the Allergy Unit of Attikon University Hospital, Athens, Greece in 2010. Currently I am responsible of the Mastocytosis Outpatient Clinic at the same institute.I am member of the EAACI since 2010, and board member of the EAACI Interest Group on Biologicals 2013-2015.
